Dr. Carmona completed his dental school studies at the University of Costa Rica in 2003. In 2006, he concluded his orthodontic residency at the Intercontinental University in Mexico City.
The same year, he entered into private practice in San Jose, Costa Rica, which he continued until 2011. While in private practice, from 2008 – 2011, he acted as an orthodontics instructor at the University of Costa Rica.
In 2011, Dr. Carmona relocated to Florida and in 2013 obtained his Master of Science and Orthodontic Certificate at the Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Carmona is a member of the American Academy of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Florida Association of Orthodontists and the South Florida Academy of Orthodontists.
Dr. Carmona is married to Francis Carmona (a pediatric dentist) and they have a son. When he is not having fun working, he has fun watching and playing soccer, traveling, or spending time with his wife and son, Daniel.
